Traditions' Thunder Nipple magnum ignition system assures you a torch-like flame to ignite the powder. It uses 8mm thread that tapers at the end to lock into the Thunder Dome Breech Plug. The model comes with a 209 adapter for use with 209 shotgun primers. It is recommended when using the 209 adapter, to use the magnum hammer.
